Today I’m sharing yet another hotel near Disneyland in Anaheim. This Clarion Hotel review is from a stay during Halloween Time at the Disney Resort. It is not the newest or closest hotel to the parks. However, we just wanted an affordable and comfortable place to sleep at night because we knew we’d be in the parks all day. With the lower price point and the easy access to the Toy Story Parking Lot it’s a great budget-friendly option near Disneyland.

Clarion Anaheim Hotel review

The Clarion Anaheim Hotel is another Disneyland Good Neighbor hotel. Not only that, but they are also a partner with Get Away Today so you can save on your stay and Disney tickets with my referral code, LITTLEDOVE! It might not be as fancy as some of the other area hotels but it’s still a solid option for your Disneyland vacation.

proximity to attractions

When we booked the Clarion Hotel Anaheim we knew it would be the furthest we’ve stayed from the parks. However, for us one mile is definitely still walkable. Plus, you can also walk over to the free Toy Story Parking Lot Shuttle and use that as well. You should also note that it is right next door to the Anaheim Convention Center if there’s a event you’re attending there. We did that once coming back when we were tired at midnight and it definitely saved some walking, although we had to collapse our stroller.

family-friendly amenities

The pool at Clarion Anaheim Hotel is quietly located on the back side and is not only large, but features plenty of seating. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy it on our recent stay there! We also appreciated the promotion at The Palm Tree Café on site. Right now, kids under 9 eat free with a paid adult!

room details

We stayed in a Studio Suite that had to full beds and a sleeper sofa. The Studio Suites also have a mini fridge (with freezer compartment) and microwave. The rooms were actually a very generous size and we had plenty of room for our pack n’ play and double stroller. Sometimes hotel rooms can be kind off small for our family but these had plenty of space! The beds and pillows were also some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on at a hotel. The downside of our room? Although it was very clean, it was pretty dated. I was surprised when I walked into the bathroom and saw wallpaper peeling up from the corners and the tiny space–especially when compared with the spacious room.
