Grand Legacy at the Park review

This Disneyland Good Neighbor hotel was such a great place to stay for four nights. We loved the spacious lobby and the proximity to local attractions. As always, I’ll break down this Grand Legacy at the Park review with location, rooms, and fun extras for your family.

proximity to attractions

Grand Legacy at the Park is such a perfect location. It took us 5 minutes to walk from the lobby of the hotel to the Disneyland Security on Harbor Blvd. This made it really convenient to walk back in the middle of the afternoon to escape the summer heat. There are also several restaurants nearby, including some located on the first floor of the front building. As most hotels near Disneyland, it’s also easy to access the freeway to explore more of southern California.

family-friendly amenities

The pool at Grand Legacy was so much fun! We loved how large it was which made it feel like there was plenty of room for everyone, even on a hot and crowded summer afternoon. There was also a fun splash pad area that my kids loved. I also appreciated that they had fun beach balls and some other pool toys available on the deck.

Don’t miss this: If your room doesn’t have a fireworks view you can watch them from the pool area. Pool hours are 8:00 am to 10:00 pm so you won’t miss the grand finale!

room details

We stayed in a two Queen room with a Luxury view. These rooms are located in the front building facing the parks. Even though we were only on the second floor we could see the fireworks from Disneyland from our windows! The rooms had a good-sized mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. There is also a dresser and armoire for storing your clothes and Disney souvenirs. There are other sized room layouts as well to accommodate any party size!

other things to mention

Our kids loved the popcorn that was available in the lobby sometimes. It’s popped fresh but then pre-packaged in little plastic bags, there are even flavorings you can add! There is also a large mural in the lobby so make sure to stop for a picture before you leave.

Don’t miss this: The FIFTH is a rooftop bar and restaurant located on the roof of Grand Legacy at the Park. We did not eat there during our visit because it didn’t seem like a good place to take our six young kids. However, if you are traveling sans kids, with older kids, or can manage a night out then I would definitely recommend a visit! You can view Disneyland fireworks from here and they even synch their music to the show!
