Just like that, 2020 is over in the blink of an eye. Seriously, how we’re already a week into 2021 I have no idea. A lot happened in that whirlwind of a year though, didn’t it? I’ve been trying to put into some non-rambling words how I feel about everything that happened in 2020 but in the meantime I wanted to share my top posts with you. Even though it’s later than I usually do, I couldn’t let the year pass by completely without sharing my best of 2020.

Best of the blog 2020

the best of 2020

Let’s just say that this year was a very 2020 year on the blog. I’m not a niche blogger so typically my top posts span everything from travel to lifestyle to recipes. This year however you could say that I saw a “quarantine life” niche pop through. Not exactly what I’d like to be known for but I’m glad I was able to help fill a need in 2020!

Ah–now we start getting into the nitty gritty of what it was like to live in 2020. In fact, what it was like to give birth in 2020. With all the chaos in the world it was no wonder that my birth story for my little pandemic baby made the top five.

3. Giving Birth During a Global Pandemic–how I feel about It

Before I ever gave birth I had very strong feelings about what it was like to be pregnant in 2020. With countless people asking me how I felt about it I figured I should write it all down–even if it might not have been what people expected.

blog goals for 2021

I have some goals for the blog this year that are pretty much the same as every year. However, I figured this year I should come up with a plan to actually achieve my goals. What’s that quote? “A goal without a plan is just a wish“? This year on the blog I plan to:

  • Double my pageviews from 2020 by posting consistently and more frequently during higher traffic times.
  • Lower my bounce rate by improving SEO.
Do you have professional or personal goals for this year?
Which blog post of mine did you enjoy the most in 2020?
