Today I’m continuing the series I started last year of hotels near Disneyland. I’m so excited to share all the details of this wonderful hotel in my Hilton Anaheim review! We partnered with Hilton Anaheim during our Magical Media Retreat and they ensured that everything ran perfectly. I was so impressed with all the details of our stay and know you’ll love it too. I loved my stay at the Hilton Anaheim during our Magical Media Retreat and would love to come back with my kids! This Hilton Anaheim review will cover my stay there, but also touch on the family-friendly aspects of the hotel.
proximity to attractions
The Hilton Anaheim works with ART to offer guests easy transportation to local destinations and attractions. You can download the free A-Way WeGo app to schedule your desired times and locations to ride for a reasonable fee! This hotel is also easily accessible to the Toy Story Parking Lot and adjacent to the Anaheim Convention Center.

- The Outlets at Orange: 3 miles
- Knott’s Berry Farm: 8 miles
- SNA (Orange County Airport): 12 miles

family-friendly amenities
The pool at Hilton Anaheim also includes hot tubs and a fun splash pad area for the kids. It’s a great space with plenty of seating and even firepits you can enjoy! Besides the fun pool area, there’s also family-friendly activities inside the hotel. While we were there there was even a Disney Character meet & greet with Elsa and face painting!
Don’t miss this: Disney Character & Face Painting happens on Fridays during busier seasons, especially over spring break, holidays, and summer periods. Please note, they are not scheduled if there is a large convention going on in the hotel.
room details
The rooms at Hilton Anaheim are all a generous size and perfect for a family! While I was there I stayed in a one bedroom King Premiere Suite, however, even the standard rooms have plenty of space. The Premiere Suites have a separate bedroom and a wall bed in the main living space that was quite comfortable to sleep on! There’s also a large seating area, dining table, and wet bar nook with a mini fridge and coffee maker.

other things to mention
If you’re planning a conference there are lots of conference rooms and lounges available for your group. We were able to work closely with the Hilton Anaheim to make sure the rooms we were using were perfect for our event. If you’re lucky enough to get to utilize the Vista Lounge, it overlooks California Adventure and has a view of the Disneyland fireworks!

You’ll also find other great conveniences right in the hotel, like a Starbucks, gift shop, and large fitness center. There’s also a restaurant and lounge on the main lobby level. Everything you might need during your stay is either right there or easy to get to!
