Sometimes in life, you’ve just got to embrace your inner mermaid. Right?! Especially since summer is just around the corner. Our weather seems to be a bit undecided at the moment but I am gearing up for all things summer. I can’t wait for the barbecues and watermelon, swimming and sand castle building… this is definitely my favorite time of year for living in a lake community. And what lake-living resident wouldn’t benefit from some #mermaid inspired tees and tote bags?

I have been adding some summer shirts to my online store and I really love these two! I think they would make such a cute mommy/daughter set! After all, what little girl wouldn’t love to sport some #mermaid attire this summer? What do you think? Does this inspire you to make some mermaid gear of your own?

Let me tell you why I decided to make these. I donated a few items to a silent auction this past weekend. I had so much fun creating some items for a good cause! For some of the items I created a mermaid-themed set, which included this adult shirt and this canvas tote bag. I really love the way the canvas tote bag turned out. IT’s so perfect for throwing all your gear in and heading to the beach! I haven’t ever offered tote bags in my online store but I’m thinking about adding some. Being a small shop owner is tough y’all, you never know what people will respond to!
