Last year I threw my younger girls a Friendsgiving Party. Hi, I’m Justine and I throw playdate parties for my kids because traditional playdates seem like too much work. Yes, I have a problem. But the good news it, it was a lot of fun and I wanted to share all the cute details of this Friendsgiving Party for kids with you!
Friendsgiving Party for Kids
This Friendsgiving party was full of fun and food. For the ultimate fun, just keep in mind the age and abilities of the guests you’ll have. Don’t plan elaborate crafts or activities that they’ll need too much help with. That isn’t fun for them, and it’s completely overwhelming as the host.
kid-friendly activities
I planned for two main activities, plus also running amuck outside, of course. The first activity we did was making some friendship necklaces. I used leftover necklace cords from my daughter’s aloha birthday party.

After a short snack break, then we made floral bouquets for someone in our lives that helps make Thanksgiving great. After all, Thanksgiving is all about showing gratitude, right?
I picked up various flowers from Trader Joe’s and grabbed some old mason jars. The girls got to create their own flower arrangements and then color a thank you tag to attach with some yarn. I have the free printable for the thank you tags at the end of this post!
easy snacks
To keep things simple I asked everybody to bring a snack to share if they could. This is always a good tact to take for young kids, because you know their parents will bring something they like and aren’t allergic to.
If you want to provide all the food for this Friendsgiving party though, you can keep it simple with popcorn and some fruits or vegetables.
