‘Tis the season for being outdoors and for gift giving! With graduation season in full swing, Mother’s Day right around the corner, and Father’s Day coming up, I wanted to round up some of my favorite gift ideas for people that love the great outdoors. These gifts are probably best suited for teens and adults, but if you’ve got kiddos that love nature also, you can scroll through the end of the post and find some ideas for them! Make sure to pin this gift guide for outdoor lovers for later, too! Some links contain affiliates, all opinions are my own.

gift guide for outdoor lovers

There are lots of great gear recommendations out there for people that love to hike or camp. This gift guide isn’t going to include those items. Personally, I like to pick out my own gear for really exploring nature. However, if you are like me and love bringing the outdoors in, or carrying a little piece of nature with you wherever you go, this list is for you!

travel memories photo book

Photo books are fantastic, but then can be so tedious to put together! That’s why I love Chatbooks! You can easily get all those trip memories off your phone and make a meaningful gift for someone. I’ve been going back and making photobooks for all our past summer trips and it’s so fast to put them together. You can use my code LITTLEDOVE to save 20% off your order!

I recently discovered Kim to Summit Jewelry on Instagram and fell in love with her meaningful pieces! With a variety of shapes and metal finishes, there’s something for everyone on your gift list. I just bought another one of her national park necklaces in preparation for our summer trip. You can use the code SPRINGGIVEAWAY for 30% off through the end of May 2026!

camping watercolor notebook

Do you have an artsy friend who loves getting out into nature? These nature-inspired watercolor notebooks from Emily Lex Studio. I especially love the camping watercolor notebook, but my daughter has the bird notebook and has loved it! It’s easy to use for beginners too!

national park water bottle

I had my eye on these interactive water bottles for years and then my sweet friend bought me one for my birthday! Wondery makes the original National Park sticker water bottle so you can track all your travels and always have it handy. They also make a 50 States water bottle version that’s a lot of fun too!

The Wander Club travel tokens.

travel tokens

I have been a fan of The Wander Club for several years because it’s so easy to track your travels! I have both their legacy (original) tokens, and their updated, full-color travel tokens and they’re both great. You can collect states, countries, national parks, baseball stadiums, or so many other places and landmarks!

national park compression packing cubes

I’ve talked before about how much I love packing cubes, but these national park compression cubes are not only totally functional, but perfect for anyone who loves national parks! These are great for your friend who loves to travel everywhere–whether in the city or the country.

laser-engraved maps

We have a couple of laser-engraved wood maps and I especially love my national park map from Tiny 3D Temples. These wood maps are a beautiful way to bring your love of the outdoors right into your home. They also make other topographical maps that are of a similar heirloom quality.
