Can you believe it’s already March?! This year is flying by and planning and preparing for Spring Break and Summer trips is in full swing. I used to love going on trips with my family growing up–whether it was a flight to Hawaii or a road trip with camping. The anticipation to leaving for our trip was one of the most exciting parts! Now that I’m a mom I love seeing my own kids get excited when we have a trip coming up. But something what isn’t always awesome is them asking–“when do we leave??” every hour until departure. Today I’m sharing a cute coloring page travel countdown that you can print up at home. Hopefully it will help get your kids excited without having to bug you constantly about when you’re leaving.

I am so excited to be collaborating with Hayley from Camp Castle Playmats on another coloring page! She is always so good about taking my vision and making the reality even better. This coloring page features 14 squares that you can fill in as you count down to your trip. You can color one a day, or you can color one every morning and night for a week.
You can even pencil in a task for each day to help get ready that you and your little one can work on together. For example: Day 1-clean out car; Day 2-plan screen-free activities; Day 3-begin packing… and so on. This will also help teach your kids how much work and preparation goes into these fun family vacations… something I wish I had realized as a kid!
