my favorite classic novels

Hello sweet friends! Happy Wednesday and happy first day of February! Can you believe we are already here? January went by in a blur as I was still “recovering” from the holidays and then trying to get everything ready for our cruise–which was fabulous by the way. I had lots of time to relax, eat delicious food, and read some books! I took two books with me on my trip and I was able to finish both of them! The first book I read was More than the Tattooed Mormon by Al Carraway. I had been wanting to read this book for awhile and found it to be a really quick read and very enjoyable. In a very down-to-earth way Al writes about true and lasting happiness, judging others, and shares her testimony of God’s love for us! Whether you’re a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) or not, I highly recommend this book.

I also finally read The Five Love Languages: The Secret to Love that Lasts. I’d heard so many good things about this book and had long suspected that my husband and I spoke different love languages. This book was so enlightening, and before I had even finished reading it I convinced my husband to read it as well. At the end of the book there’s also a little quiz for you and your spouse to take to determine what your love languages are if you’re not sure. Another great book that I recommend for you and your spouse!

Now, onto the rest of today’s post! For this edition of What We’re Reading Wednesday I wanted to compile some of my favorite classic novels and share some free printables for you! Since this is the month of love, you’ll find each of the quotes to be quite “lovely” indeed, wink wink. Each print is available in an 8″ x 10″ so it can easily be sized down without compromising quality.
