Though usually thought of as a seasonal treat, this chocolate pecan pie is perfect al year! Copycat for Cracker Barrel's chocolate pecan pie.

Ingredients
3eggs
1/2cupsugar
1cupcorn syrup
1/2tspsalt
1tspvanilla extract
1/4cupbuttermelted
1cuppecans
1/4cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips
1unbaked pie shell
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° and prepare your favorite pie crust in a 9 inch pan.
In a medium sized bowl, beat together eggs and then add in sugar and mix well. Mix in corn syrup, salt, vanilla, and butter.
Place pecans and chocolate chips into unbaked pie shell. Pour liquid mixture over the nuts and chips; the pecans will rise up to the top.
Cover the pie edges with aluminum foil or pie guard, then bake for 40-50 minutes, then remove cover and continue baking until edges are slightly browned, approximately 10 minutes.
