Sweet Seared Pork Chops
A simple recipe for pork chops, seared to seal in flavor and then baked to perfection.

Ingredients
4
boneless pork chops
4
TBSP
of butter
2
teaspoons
garlic
minced
1
egg
beaten
For the Coating
1/2
cup
of bread crumbs
2
TBSP
of brown sugar
Salt and pepper
to taste
Red pepper
optional, to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° and heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
Mix ingredients together for coating in a shallow bowl. Pour beaten egg in another shallow bowl.
Melt 4 TBSP of butter in skillet and add 2 teaspoons of minced garlic. Saute lightly but be careful, garlic can burn quickly!
Meanwhile, dip each pork chop in egg wash, then dredge in bread crumb mixture.
Brown each side of the pork chop on the skillet, cooking a couple minutes on each side.
Place pork chops in a parchment paper lined baking dish and bake about 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°.
