Today I’m sharing everything you need to know about a great camping resort for your family in southern Utah. This post is in partnership with Jellystone Park Zion, all opinions are my own.

ways to stay at Jellystone Park Zion
Our family stayed at one of the 200 RV spots that Jellystone Park Zion offers. All their RV spots offer full hookups and a couple can even accommodate large RVs up to 90 feet long! We loved how wide our campsite was, and it will be even nicer in a few years once the newly planted trees start providing some shade.
There are also cabins at Jellystone Park Zion that are conveniently located near the water zone and other attractions. There are Yogi Bear cabins that sleep 8 and a Cindy Bear cabin that sleeps 6. If you prefer to tent camp, there are also Boo Boo Bear Daycation Pods. These innovative pods accompany a level tent area and give you an air-conditioned space to hang out during the day with small fridges and televisions. Note that these pods are not for sleeping in.

planned activities
At Jellystone Park Zion Utah you could be as relaxed or as scheduled as you like. There are organized activities all day long, some of which are free and some have an extra fee. One of the paid activities that some of my kids participated in was a rubber duck race. With the purchase of a rubber duck, we watched as our ducks raced down one of the water slides competing against several other ducks. It was really fun for everyone involved! Our family also loves the Hey-Hey wagon rides that many Jellystone campgrounds–including Jellystone Park Zion Utah–offers for free to campers. You can download the Jellystone Park app for all the details on campground activities.
themed weekends
Every Jellystone Park offers fun themed weekends throughout the year that often coincide with the current season or holidays. Since we were at Jellystone Park Zion Utah over Father’s Day weekend, the theme was all about celebrating dad! During our stay there was a father and kid cannonball contest, an after-hours party celebrating dads, and more fun dad-themed activities.

water zone
The star of Jellystone Park Zion Utah is definitely their water zone. Many Jellystone campgrounds have fun water zones that are more than just a pool, and their Zion location really shines. There are two pools, two hot tubs, a lazy river, a splash zone for little ones, and a large slide complex with three body slides and a tube slide. One of the pools and hot tubs is even heated year-round and is open after hours (usually 7:00 to 10:00 pm) for all campers. If you’re feeling hungry there are several food trucks surrounding the pool area where you can grab some grub. You can click here to view all their attraction’s seasonal operating hours.
Wibit course
Even though the park’s water zone is incredible, our family was also a big fan of the Wibit obstacle course. This is located a short walk from the main water zone and features a sand beach and large inflatable water obstacle course. This area was so fun and it was very relaxing to snag a seat under a palm tree and watch my youngest ones play in the sand while the older kids went crazy on the obstacle course. This area is seasonal and is only open when the pond water is at least 67°F
