Of course, back to school means back to school teacher gifts, at least for most of us. I know they can be somewhat controversial, but I know what a difference a good teacher can make. I also know how hard many teachers work. So, I don’t mind showing them a little extra appreciation every now and then. This “peachy year” teacher gift idea is a really simple way to show your thanks and wishing them another great school year! Some links contain affiliates, all opinions are completely my own.

“peachy year” teacher gift

Today my daughter starts preschool and tomorrow my son (officially) starts first grade (he’s in a Charter/Homeschool hybrid program and on-site labs start Tuesday). I’m not going to lie, I’m very much conflicted about this. I know so many moms are celebrating back to school with parades and fireworks, while others are mourning this new chapter in their children’s lives, but I’m falling somewhere in between. So excited for them (especially since they’re so excited), but sad that time still will not just slow the heck down.

Peachy year jam

This year I went really simple and just decided to give my kiddos’ teachers some homemade peach jam. I would include the recipe, but it’s just the recipe that’s included inside the box of light fruit pectin. Just keeping it real. But I am including a cute printable with some punny references, so at least there’s that. Grab your free printable below!

  1. Such a great idea and I don’t think its bad to give teachers gifts. They go in everyday with a classroom of kids who most likely cant sit still and share their knowledge with so much patience. It’s always nice to gift them something nice to show they are appreciated! I know my mom did that with all my teachers when I was a child!

  2. My boys haven’t started school yet, but I always planned on doing gifts for their teachers. If those men and women are working hard to impart knowledge and instill good morals in my boys while they are in their care, the least I can do is show my appreciation by giving them a gift. Peach jam sounds amazing and the other gifts are great, too! Thank you for sharing!
