Valentine’s gift guide

Face Mask vs. Rodan + Fields

Looking for a gift for your bff? Picking up a few face masks is definitely a budget-friendly way to say treat yo’self! This fun unicorn face mask will leave you with a magical glow. Or, if you’re looking for something more you can pick up these intense hydration masks to recover from the winter.

You should also consider checking out Rodan + Fields. I’ve been using their products for a year now and I only wish I’d started using them sooner. If you’re not sure where to start or aren’t ready to commit to a full skincare regimen, have no fear. You can’t go wrong with the Lash Boost, Active Hydration Serum, or the Hydration Bright Eye Complex. Those are all products that I use and love! I don’t sell it by any means, but if you’d like my contact then feel free to message me.

Spa Treatment vs. Spa Day

As a busy mom I know a gift certificate for a manicure, pedicure, massage, or facial is always appreciated. Especially if it’s accompanied with an offer of babysitting! However, if the budget allows then a spa day is definitely a way to splurge for Valentine’s Day. You could even consider getting some couples treatments to enjoy with your Valentine.

The Night Sky vs. Below the Boat

This Valentine’s gift guide wouldn’t be complete with sentimental gifts. I believe they’re always a good bet for Valentine’s Day. There are tons of companies these days that are making it easier than ever to give a thoughtful gift. On the more budget-friendly side (but still totally thoughtful) is The Night Sky. I actually bought one of these star maps for my husband for Christmas. I absolutely loved the way that it turned out! All you have to do is enter in your location and the date that you want memorialized. Then they create a personalized star map for you!

Another sentimental gift that you could give to commemorate a special day or place comes to you from Below the Boat. I bought one for my husband and I’m not sure which one of us loves it more! This company creates gorgeous bathymetric charts. A bathymetric chart is like an underwater topographic maps. These are laser cut into wood and are definitely in the splurge category of gifts. With over 50 locations to choose from all over the world, you’re sure to find a chart that means something to you and your sweetheart.

Cordless vacuum vs. robotic vacuum

I know what you’re thinking–“a vacuum for Valentine’s Day?!”–but just hear me out. I received a lightweight cordless vacuum for Mother’s Day last year (at my request) and it was one of my favorite gifts all year. Why? Because it is so easy to use instead of lugging out my heavy, corded vacuum. Even my kids can easily clean up with it, making my mom life much simpler! We got ours on sale at Costco for a great deal and I’ve been very impressed with it’s cleaning ability.

If you’re looking to make your cleaning situation a little easier and you have some more money in the budget, that hint to your honey about a robotic vacuum. We ordered a bObsweep during a pre-black Friday sale last year and love it. We run it just about every night and it really works well! Plus, since it’s keeping the floor so much cleaner I don’t have to wash the floor as often either, win-win.

Dinner out vs. Meal delivery

I love a nice dinner out with my husband as much as the next gal. However, if you can afford it you might want to hint to your sweetheart that momma would love a break more than just one night. With so many different meal subscription boxes available there is a great option out there for any taste bud or budget. Don’t worry if you’re not the best cook in the world! This could serve as a great gift idea for your significant other as well!

PinkBlush vs. Stitch Fix

It’s no surprise that I love PinkBlush clothing. From the quality to the style to the comfort of their pieces, you just can’t go wrong. If picking out a piece of clothing for someone’s gift seems scary you can purchase a gift card on their website. That way your hubby won’t have to awkwardly ask you what size you wear…

Although I’ve never tried Stich Fix myself the idea is definitely appealing. I think that this clothing subscription service where a stylist creates a fix for you each month (or more or less frequently depending on what you choose) would be a great Valentine’s Day present. Gift Cards can be purchased on their website. Plus, who doesn’t like the idea of “shopping” from the convenience of your own home?

Rocksbox vs. Posh Mommy

I’ve talked about Rocksbox many times before and I’ll continue to do so. It’s so fun getting a little bit of bling in your mail box every month! For a $21 styling fee you get unlimited jewelry rental for a month that is hand selected for you based off your style profile. The fee will get applied to any pieces you choose to keep from your current set! I highly recommend Rocksbox for the friend who’s a fashion blogger or the sister who is way too picky to shop for.

If you’re looking for a special piece of jewelry that’s a little more pricey, check out Posh Mommy Jewelry. I’ve been a fan of theirs since my son was born. They specialize in customized jewelry pieces. I have a pendent with each of my children’s names and birthstones and I treasure them!
