Here we are already in December and Christmas prep is probably in full swing at your house like it is mine. I’ve been looking forward to this What We’re Reading Wednesday post for awhile! It’s been so fun trying to think of creative ways to share my love of books with y’all. I’ve known that I wanted to create some free printables for you because I love making printables. However, I didn’t realize how hard it would be to narrow down my favorite literary Christmas quotes from literature to just a handful. In the end I was able to pick four, let me know if you love any of these Christmas quotes as well!

Like I said, it was hard to narrow my favorite Christmas quotes down to only a few. I tend to gravitate towards quotes that emphasize the true meaning of Christmas–love and family as we celebrate the birth of our Savior. Each image is formatted to print at 8 x 10″. However, they could easily be sized down if you prefer. These would also be great to use as screen savers or create your own Christmas cards using these quotes.

If you’re a fan of classic literature than these Washington Irving and Laura Ingalls Wilder quotes are for you. I love the Irving quote about Christmas meaning hospitality and charity. And the Laura Ingalls Wilder quote brings to mind memories of my own childhood Christmases.

Your kids will love these Christmas quotes from Dr. Seuss and Charles Dickens. What kid doesn’t love How The Grinch Stole Christmas? And A Christmas Carol is a great lesson in how love and generosity can change your life.
