The baby countdown is on, 33 weeks down, seven or less to go! I recently talked about all the baby basics that every mom needs, whether it’s her first baby or her tenth. But sometimes there are also baby items that make it onto your wish list. Maybe they’re bigger ticket items, maybe they’re new baby products that have come out on the market, or maybe they’re just items that you think might make your mom life a little bit easier. Today I’m sharing my wish list for my fifth baby, I’d love to know your thoughts! This baby wish list gift guide is sponsored by DockaTot, The Ollie World, and Binxy Baby. Some links contain affiliates, all opinions are completely my own.

portable baby lounger

When I was pregnant with my first I thought it would be neat to have something like a Moses basket that I could just lay wherever I needed to. However, seeing as how it was my first baby and there was so much that I really did need, it was far down on the priority list and I never got around to purchasing one. Fast forward to now, fifth baby coming just around the corner and we have a three bedroom house. I hate to complain because I know we have so much more than so many people, but space is scarce and every inch needs to be used wisely! Naptime can already be tricky and we need flexibility with where little ones can nap. That’s why I’m so excited to give the DockaTot a try because I have heard so many wonderful things about it!

new diaper bag

I like to buy quality diaper bags that last me a couple of years. I use my diaper bag every day and I’m pretty rough on them, so I think a two year life span is pretty good. Since I’d had my last one for about two years I was due for a new one anyway. I treated myself to a new brand, a Lily Jade diaper bag. I’ve been pretty happy with it so far. I especially like the ability to make it a regular purse or wear it like a backpack. I’m excited to see how it holds up over time!

perfect swaddling blanket

I am a big fan of swaddling and I believe that most babies do in reality like to be swaddled. I’ve tried muslin blankets, flannel blankets, and wraps with velcro, so I’ve had lots of experience. I’m excited to try out the new Ollie swaddle with baby girl. The material seems incredibly soft and lightweight. I like when baby can move and stretch in their swaddles but still stay secure. I also love that it’s one size fits all so it will transition as baby girl grows. Bonus points–The Ollie World has the cutest packaging for their swaddles, what momma-to-be doesn’t want to open a pretty package? Be prepared for lots of baby spam over on my Instagram of tiny baby girl in her Ollie swaddle!

a shopping companion

In an ideal world I would be able to shop without any kids in tow. However, that’s just not my reality. It’s always an interesting game of Tetris to get shopping done with a baby carseat in the shopping cart. More than once I’ve gotten to the car, lifted the carseat out, and realized I have to go back because a rogue can rolled under the carseat. So I am so excited to give this Binxy Baby cart hammock a try. It’s safety tested and rated for up to 50 pounds. I think it’s really going to make my shopping trips easier!

ultimate baby wish list item for baby #5: a new double stroller

We bought our last double stroller about six years ago when I was pregnant with our second child. Pros of said stroller that we picked out: I actually can collapse it and open it up basically one handed. It also folds up smaller than some other ones on the market. Another benefit is that it can have a few different configurations. That has worked well for us as our family and our children have grown. Cons of said stroller: it’s definitely showing some wear and tear. More importantly, it’s heavy, not as heavy as some, but heavier than others. Being heavy it’s also hard to maneuver, and the handles do not have an adjustable height. All these things do not make a good combination for someone who was diagnosed with carpal tunnel last year. So I had my eyes set on a new, lightweight double stroller.

What’s on your baby wish list? What’s you go-to gift for a new (but experienced) mom?
