plug into passion and a giveaway

I was gifted a free copy of the eBook Plug Into Passion for my honest review. I was also given a discount code for my readers and free copy to give as a giveaway. As always, all opinions are completely my own.

I think we’ve all been there. Whether it’s just a random rut, distance cause by an argument, our busy lives, our demanding children, being pregnant and tired, or a myriad of other things that seem to come up in a relationship… sometimes we may feel that special spark dwindling a little bit. That’s why I’m so excited to share a great eBook I recently read by Andi Franklin called Plug Into Passion. I must admit, at first I was a little unsure about the whole idea of it. After all, I feel like my relationship with my husband is pretty good (especially  considering we’ve been together for 10 years and four kids!) and I’m not typically one for a self-help book, but I quickly discovered that Plug Into Passion doesn’t read like your typical self-help book. I also have a discount code and a giveaway for you so keep reading! Then be sure to join us and share what’s on your bookshelf for our November What We’re Reading linkup!

I don’t want to give anything away but I do want to say that I honestly feel like this book could be helpful for anybody who is in a relationship, no matter what state or stage you feel you’re in. I do want to share briefly one part that really resonated with me that Andi talks about in her intro. She says, “…before we know it we are reserving the least amount of time for the people and things in our lives who deserve it the most.”

Wow.

I don’t know about you but I’ve been there a time or two; not just with my husband, but all too often with my kids. Why is it that sometimes we give the best part of ourselves to the other people in our lives and throw the leftover scraps at our spouse like a wounded puppy? Again, I don’t feel like my husband and I had (or have) a bad marriage by any means, I would say it’s pretty great. But I think no matter where we are there’s always room for improvement.

There were so many other parts of Andi’s book that I read while simultaneously nodding my head in agreement. Another thing that I loved about Plug Into Passion is that she has daily challenges with a call to action. It was so helpful as I was reading along to think about what I needed to be working on that day or that week. And I honestly can’t believe the difference that I noticed, even with a couple of simple changes! Sometimes being pregnant and so exhausted due to running after my four other children all day I’d feel like I had nothing left for my sweet spouse. However, I quickly realized that even the smallest steps or changes can make a big impact.

Want to give Plug Into Passion a try for yourself? Andi is graciously offering a 50% discount for my readers! Use the code LITTLEDOVE at andifranklin.com through November 12th and start her daily challenges today! One of you lucky readers will also receive a free copy of her eBook, enter to win below!

Looks like and amazing give away. I like reading self help books because I can get an insight of how another person thinks or offers solutions to common issues that plague us.
