Ask any mom and she will probably tell you that her “mom uniform” is a plain tee and jeans. I think it’s probably safe to say that the most basic of these combinations is the classic white tee and jeans. Just because us moms typically go for comfort doesn’t mean that we have to sacrifice style. I actually love the classic look of a great white tee and jeans because it’s so versatile, easy to wear casually while you’re out doing your mom thing, but also super simple to dress up for a night out. This post is part of a sponsored collaboration with PinkBlush. All opinions are my own and I never share brands I don’t love!

It’s also the perfect, classic look if you just want to look pulled together in no time flat for a school meeting so the other parents won’t sit there silently judging you and wondering why you’re wearing yoga pants and  a stained tee out in public.

You know we’ve all been there.

Today I’m sharing two looks with you that have a solid foundation with a basic white tee and jeans as a base but that will take your mom look in two totally different directions!

It’s true, I live most of my days in jeans and a t-shirt. I’m also a fan of casual skirts and dresses, but when the weather starts turning chilly at this time of year I rely on jeans for my everyday wear. These moto skinny maternity jeans from PinkBlush are great because they’re super comfortable with just enough stretch for me to be running after my little ones all day long.

For my everyday, hectic mom life style I usually pair it with a simple tee (graphic tees are fun too!) and some simple stud earrings. And since I live for comfort and I’m a southern California girl at heart, I’ll be rocking my sandals until there’s snow on the ground.

When it’s time to dress up for a date night with the hubby or girl’s night out then these jeans work great for that too. I just pair them with a dressier top (this crepe tunic isn’t currently available in ivory, but it is in these great colors), a statement necklace, and some fun heels in a bright color and I’m ready to go!
