3 Trends I Love For Fall

This weekend I finally pulled the Fall decor out, much to my children’s excitement. I realize that it technically isn’t Fall yet, but I still feel really behind! Everyone on social media has been decorating for awhile now so it felt good to finally get some pretty Autumn things out. Fall is such a fun season to decorate for and although I like to switch things up a little bit every year, I keep finding myself reaching for the similar looking items year after year. Wooden Elements 

I love wooden elements all year round but I really feel like they’re perfect in the Fall. I’m especially drawn to wooden crates and I love seeing them filled to the brim with gourds or snugly blankets. And how amazing are those wooden servers?! It would be so perfect for Fall entertaining! Of course, you can always diy your own too.

Fall Scented Candles 

I guess candles aren’t really a trend, per se, but once the decorations come out I love lighting my Fall candles! Nothing says “Hello Autumn!” quite like lighting a yummy-smelling candle after the kids go to bed and snuggling up with my hubby while we watch a show. Few things make a home seem cozier than being tidy with a candle burning in the corner. I love those cute little votives too! They’d be perfect in this diy branch candle holder.

Mercury Glass

I really love the antique look of Mercury Glass and I think it’s perfect for the Fall season. Or maybe it’s just me that seems to tie all things vintage to Autumn… I wonder why that is? And with looking glass spray paint now you can even make your own lovely decor pieces! I also love Mercury Glass items because it’s so easy to transition into winter and Christmas decor with them; but that’s a post for another day.
