introducing the momma love fellowship

Hello lovely readers! Did everyone have a wonderful Valentine’s Day yesterday with your sweetheart? Valentine’s Day might be over but there’s still plenty of time to spread more love this month and I’ve been thinking about a way to do just that. After much planning I’m excited to share a new swap to help share some of the momma love out there!

the momma love fellowship

You do not need to have a blog to participate in this swap and you also do not need to have children of your own to be considered a “mom”. First time moms, seasoned moms, moms-to-be, those hoping to become mothers, aunts, best friends, and fur mommas are all welcome. If you have the heart of a mother and a love for sisterhood and community this swap is for you! So check out the guidelines below and see if you can join us:

  • Mail an encouraging, uplifting, or just humorous note, card, or letter to your partner twice a month for March, April, and May. Please use #MomLoveFellowship when posting to social media so we can find each other!
  • In addition to the notes you send in May, mail your partner a small gift you think they’ll like, the total cost of which should be no more than $20 (before shipping). Try to ensure that it will arrive by Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 14).
  • On Monday, May 22, come back here to link up any of your momma love fellowship posts in our link party if you have a blog, or just check out all the goodies other people got if you don’t.
  • Enjoy the new friendship you and your online friend have formed and bask in the awesomeness of it!

As I was preparing for this swap it was the perfect time to head to Target to stock up on notecards and get ready for this month’s $10 at Target Challenge that is organized by Stephanie, Beth, Elizabeth, Becky, and Tif (I’ll be linking up with them next Monday). Not only did I find some cute cards and pens, but I picked up an adorable mermaid felt busy book for my littles and some elusive cactus paper clips (thanks for the heads up Crystal!). I did much better with staying on budget this month too, I actually only spent $7.51!

February $10 at Target

Want to join us for the Momma Love Fellowship? Fill out //this Google Form// so you can be assigned a partner. Signups will close on Tuesday, February 28 and you will be sent your partner’s info by Friday, March 3.
